Phase 3: Identifying the mechanisms of marine systems affected by human pressures

The final phase of FEEDRES will be devoted to integrating the information collected across different organizational levels — ecological, community, and socio-economic — to build an overall model capable of highlighting the mechanisms that promote or prevent regime shifts in major European marine ecosystems.

Through comparative analysis of these models, it will be possible to identify similarities and differences between ecosystems — a crucial step for projecting observed dynamics into the future and anticipating potential transitions in other geographic or ecological contexts.
